What in the world is The Honest Scrap Award? At any rate, Polycarp tagged me after being tagged by Wickle. Here are the rules: share 10 honest things about yourself, and then tag 7 bloggers to return the favor.

1. I only listen to Chris Tomlin and Hillsong as far as Christian contemporary music goes.
2. I’m part of a new church plant that got started in May 2009.
3. I wear the fish symbol around my neck (that ἰχθύς legend) on a piece of leather.
4. I only like to wear white sneakers with my jeans.
5. I usually finish a 1Gal. Vanilla Ice Cream in two weeks.
6. I enjoy watching romantic comedies with my wife.
7. I just finished watching 10 seasons of “Friends” with my wife.
8. I still think a seminary education is too expensive.
9. I hate paperbacks but will take them anyway.
10. I was part of a wine, beer, and cigar night a few weeks back.
Here are my 7 bloggers:

I wouldn’t have pegged you for a “Friends” watcher.
PeterM, not at first. I hated “Friends.” But my wife began to watch reruns of earlier seasons and was having fun. So she asked me to get “Friends” a chance, and I did and the rest is history.
Same goes for “Frasier,” and “Everybody Loves Raymond.”
Friends is awesome. I used to dog on that show all the time. My wife is a huge fan and would try to convince me to just give it a chance. Finally I did and over time it really grew on me. Now I think it is one of the top sitcoms ever. Definitely in my top 3.
Bryan L
Bryan, we have similar experiences with “Friends.”
My top three would be:
1. Frasier
2. Friends
3. Seinfeld.
In that order.
That would be my top three sit coms as well, T.C.
Polycarp, your approval is greatly appreciated. And I hope no one begs to differ with us.
If they do…they just might find out why it’s call ‘scrap.’
Polycarp, nice play on words.

I wasn’t an avid Friends watcher, but generally enjoyed it. The incessant porn jokes aside, it was a funny show. Frasier, too, was good, but I liked Cheers better!
Daphne was a great addition, man.

Jason, in fact, when we completed the seasons, I thought about getting rid of them. The sexual overtones are at times disturbing.
I’m praying for the courage.
Well, Cheers is the original. Frasier because of their psychiatry thing and that British accent from Daphne.
Yes, Daphne was cute!
