It’s simple:
1. First chance: All you have to do is comment on this post, stating why you want to get the Mosaic. By now I’m sure you’re familiar with this Bible. If not, see my interview with Keith Williams, general editor of the Mosaic Bible.
2. Second chance: Just tweet my offer: @tcrobinson is offering a chance to win a free NLT Mosaic! Check out his blog for more details: http://bit.ly/T6w7I. Then simply retweet my original tweet with @tcrobinson, so I’ll see the mention.
Then the winner will be drawn and announced next Thursday at 3:00pm—California time! The winner will need to email me his or her physical address, where this NLT Mosaic Bible can be sent.
Or simply purchase one through New Leaven Astore.
I’ll find some way to draw the names.
Let’s go!

Why I want a Mosaic NLT: I haven’t spent much time reading in an NLT and the only one I own is a pocket size with extremely tiny print.
Entering for my chance to win the Mosaic Bible. I might be those that this edition gets me to give the “NLT a(nother) chance.”
I want one because I think it is cool. If I understand it correctly it isn’t red-letter either, which I prefer.
You are correct, it is a black-letter edition.
I’d like to get the Mosaic Bible because I have been a long time fan on conciliar Chritianity. I’ve appreciated Thomas Oden’s life work to bring ancient Christianity into contemporary theological reflection.
I have a question for Keith: Is Mosaic the full Bible in translation with devotional inserts from Christendom, or is it more a devotional book with inserrts from Scripture? It wasn’t clear to me from the mosaic website example from Advent.
It isn’t really either one. The Devotions for Advent sample is unlike the full product in this way, because it only includes the passages that are referred to in the Mosaic material, whereas the full Holy Bible: Mosaic includes the NLT in its entrirety, completely uninterrupted by additional content. Check out this video to see what I mean.
Good video intro. Keith. It absolutely answers my question. Thanks.
I’m wondering if there was an editorial team that chose the readings to be included in the devotional portion of Mosaic. It seems like such a great way to extend the influence of great writers through church into the contemporary church and I’d love to have a copy.
David Sanford and his team were responsible for pulling the content together, and they did a great job.
Mark, count yourself in the draw.

Why I want one? My NLT is old and small and I’d like to check out the extra content and possibly use this edition for devotions.
I’d like a copy of the Bible because I have always loved illuminated manuscripts, and this includes that kind of thing. I also love the meditation-like element, which is something I’m looking for in a Bible. I particularly appreciate that it includes elements from multiple traditions, perspectives, and times. It seems like the Mosaic Bible would do an excellent job creating dialogue, which is so necessary for spirituality and delving deeper into the Bible.
I want, I want , I want! I would really like to learn more about the Christian year and the Mosaic seems to be a really great way to do that!
I would like to win this Bible. It looks good, and seems full of exciting material complimenting the text. In my strive for unity and collaboration, this Bible would help me to appreciate tradition and liturgy more in order to gain freedom and blessing.
I teach Church History at a local Christian college and think the Mosaic Bible would be a help to me and maybe one that I would like to recommend to my students . . . plus I want to see what it says about Aquinas and his view of salvation!
Jerry, the draw was Thursday, but you can purchase at Amazon.com for $19.79.
It was open for a week.
The link I have says the drawing ends Nov. 6 . . . is that something else?
