“We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty,
the One who is and who was,
because you have taken your great power
and have begun to reign. (Rev. 11:17, TNIV)
I know of no better reason for which to give thanks than what God Almighty is doing in the world through his renewed people, toward a renewed creation.

My wife thinks I’m too theologically-minded, even on a relaxed day as Thanksgiving. Ha!
It is not possible to be too theologically minded, is it?
I wouldn’t be able to live with myself. Life would be unlivable.
